Personally, I've decided on Lana -- it's a Hawaiian name meaning "Afloat; calm as still waters". Fits with the Tiki/Polynesian theme of our ranch (Tiki Acres) and travel trailer (The Tiki Hut).

When mine arrives it will be called "Bug Bug"

I have Boston Terrors (Terriers) that are black and white. One of the Boston's has a really short snout, wide set eyes, only weighs 15lbs and always seems to be smiling. Her name is Doodlebug. As soon as we saw the car my husband said it reminded him of Doodlebug. The SMART we reserved is also black and white. Hence the name Bug Bug!!

We've been going round and round about a plate, so a name is another way of satisfying two good choices or keeping your favourite even though the plate may be taken.

I've been rolling ALBERT around in my head - a link between Einstein and my middle name. My wife wants something more esoteric for the plate to make people think.

A guy pulled up next to me today and asked about mileage - after only 12 miles of driving, I could only quote what I hear here - 40 MPG. His response, "That's really Smart." So, I guess my wife is right in that people will notice the car and its brand name and we can capitalize on that with a personalized plate. Bocca. . .for Bocca's Brain?

I have never wanted to name one of my cars before. Preferring to just call them by their model, but for some reason this one seemed to need a name.. so... it's Bart.. & I have no idea why other than it rhymes!
