car problems...need help

im having problems with my car that when im driving the dash will blink with 3 lines and then i cant acelerate the car wont move in any gears it only hapens after 5th gear so i checked it with the scanner and it came up speed sensor so then i changed it and went for a test drive and again it still doing the same thing .when you get in 5th the dash will start flashing where the numbers are and show lines across and then you have to put the car in nutural and pull over and turn off the car and then start it up again and drive then it keeps on doing it after 5th .
and also i get the triangle wit the ! symbol on the dash comes on and also the abs light blinks on and off most of the time...
any clue what this problem can be if anyone had this problem

Just for Grins, you may want to do a hard reset, and disconnect the battery for 20 minutes, and hook it back up, and let the Tranny go through a relearn... Its worth a shot... I kinda think a trip to the Dealer is in your future...<:-(( You didn't tell us about your car... like what year it is and the mileage on that Puppy...???

try putting the car in every gear ( while sitting still with car off but key on) down the tree then back up. sounds like the car needs to relearn the gear positions.

My car did it, till i had to have the reteach function done on the transmission gear position, with a Mercedes star diagnostic laptop, other things could cause it to,

Wait!!!! there's a 6th gear, is this another one of those hidden easter eggs the car has???

the bars show up on then the dash after 5th gear and and ferhaps 6th then you have to pull over or put into nutral and come to a stop and turn off the car and start it back up again then your on your way again ..some times the abs dash light goes on and off and the triangle comes on and off most of the time and the code reader scaner a checked came up speed sensor so i replaced it with a new one and then erased the code then went to test it and it did it again after 5th it will cut out and the dash starts blinking and the bars show up and you cant do nothing but pull over put it in neutral and turn off the car and restart it .

ive changed the tires but not the wheels ....

i cant even drive the dam car now...im gonna disconnect the battery and see if it resets it self...

randy, are the tires stock or have you purchased something else, a different size? Do you think the tire change was recent enough that it could be causing the problem?

I'm trying to figure out why the car just suddenly started doing this.
