car radio with cds question

I just read online that the smart car dosent play burned cds is that true?
I buy all my music off itunes, and love to burn cds, but can this car really not play them?
Also, do all smart car models have that wire in the dashboard thing, to plug into your ipod. I have an iphone 3g, will that work on there?
and, does the ipod have to stay in that little storage thing (cant think of the name) or is the wire long enough to throw it on the seat
thanks!

How's the weather in Heaven?
The Radio 10 plays mp3 CD-Rs. The Aux input in the glovebox allows you to plug your stereo cable in ... the length depends on the cable you purchase.

I don't know about Radio 9

The radio 9 will play traditional music CD's and yes...if they are burned on CD-R's...they won't play the RW's

Yes, Radio 10 will play CD-Rs. You can have up to six disks inserted, and can select disks by pushing buttons 1 to 6. Or, it will automatically advance to the next disk after one is finished playing.
