I too encountered the snow and icee bridges coming from wisc. yesterday. Until you got to the extremely salted bridges. Still have my Schmidt wheels on, drove straight to the car wash when I got home.

I bet, don't want to let the salt get to the finish of those wheels.

I plan on putting on my Snow tires for the season pretty soon. Winter is coming.

I like hearing story's like that and hopefully I will never get to experience the thrill myself,

but if I do....

I'm glad to hear Zippy will handle it, cause I'm personaly no good in a tailspin.

With the Mileage you put on it it should be easy to avoid

If I had a life... I'd get out more.

Just work and home, a dull boy makes.

Glad you're safe and to hear about how safe our "unsafe" car performs.

You beat me to it...

I was going to point out that for a "Death Trap Car", you all aren't trying hard enough and the numbers are way too low. It looks like the ESP and ABS keeps getting in the way of getting people hurt.

Now don't you wish you were driving one of those gas sucking SUVs, so that you could have had one spectacular crash.

Glad to hear that the smart for two worked so well in avoiding the accident.

Man, I'm glad everything turned out okay, but I gotta ask.....

Why were you going 73 miles an hour on roads that you knew were icy ??
