Car Wash

I would like to take my Smart to a car wash. Have any of you had any bad experiences at a car wash? Any car wash discountes because the Smart is so small not much to wash.

i have thought about that, and am going to pass on taking it to the car wash. unless it's a 100% hand-wash place. if they put it on some kind of drive-thru track, jeebus, god knows what could happen.

better proceed with caution mi amigo.

Since the car wash wants to charge me an extra $2 to wash my Jeep ... do they give back $4 to wash a Smart?

Your pal,
Meat.

I have run my smart through our local car wash twice. Its not a bad wash for 5 bucks. Remember to take the radio antenna off. I forgot the second time but it did not break.

Rub a dub dub

Gave ours its first shower yesterday through typical high end / soft touch car wash. No issues. Test drive crew mentioned they wased their '07 demos thru car washes last year across the country and no issues.

Remember to turn off the rain sensing wipers!!! They WILL get damaged if they are moving as you go thru the carwash**especially the rear one.

I used Rejex on the car and have run it through a brush-less wash. That seems to have worked well so far as the car comes out very clean. I am a little nervous about taking all that plastic through even the soft touch washes, plus the one I use for my other car has an underbody spray system that is too wide and the wheels roll over the spray pipe so I can't use it.
