I'm pretty sure you have to wait until the dealer calls you to tell you that your car is on the way...typically they wont volunteer the VIN number, but if you ask them they should have it and will provide it to you...its not on or in the confirmation email...

your dealer would give you your vin #. if 1281 is your reservation number I would say you still have a little bit of a wait. I have a 1189 reservation and my car just got here. I have an appointment to pick it up next saturday.

hope you can get some more info from your dealer!

Yep, same here.
The car is in the shop, PDI done and waiting for clean-up and plates.
Still not shown as off the ship.

I got a VIN number today, sent it off to my buddy at the factory, I hope to get some pictures of the car being built - if it isn't already.

The tracking system here didn't yield any data.

Did you get your VIN from Linda? I asked Max and he wasn't able to supply it to me. Who do I need to call to find mine?

I got my VIN from Walter. I got the email saying 30 days on Feb 2 and then on Feb 6, Walter got my VIN and emailed it to me. Did you get your 30 day email yet?

Nope. Still no e-mail but upon giving my reservation number to Max he said it was "shipped." Now if it's shipped, it has to have a happy VIN number. I can't imagine that someone, somewhere, in some database can't put my name, my dealership, my zip code, my reservation number and my blood type and have it spit out the VIN. (Only a teeny bit facetious there.)

Makes me a little nervous when no one seems to know this stuff and the information isn't correlated or at the least, accessible.
