Wasn't it mentioned that WW doesnt go to Jacksonville and smart is using a different line. I assumed from this thread that only cars going to Baltimore were being able to tracked. Was I wrong?

Isn't Brunswick close to Jacksonville? If yes, see above post #191...
But you're right, 2w isn't the sole Daimler transport, though the main one on the trans-Atlantic route.

I dont ever recall hearing cars coming into Georgia, but have overheard Jacksonville. They are at least in other states, not sure of the distance. But surely not the same port.

The reason I mention this is because "my" car was rolled-out today from a 2w ship that has this route:
BREMERHAVEN GERMANY 09/04/2008 11/04/2008
ANTWERP BELGIUM 12/04/2008 12/04/2008
SOUTHAMPTON UNITED KINGDOM 14/04/2008 14/04/2008
NEW YORK, NY U.S.A. 24/04/2008 24/04/2008
BALTIMORE, MD U.S.A. 25/04/2008 26/04/2008
BALTIMORE, MD U.S.A. 25/04/2008 26/04/2008
CHARLESTON,SC U.S.A. 28/04/2008 29/04/2008
BRUNSWICK, GA U.S.A. 01/05/2008 01/05/2008

And Brunswick is only ±40 m. North of Jacksonville...

Yeah!

Has yours left port yet? Mine was loaded a week ago (4/24) and appears to be still sitting in Bremerhaven.

Appears from the "voyage" on 2wglobal, or on

Mine is on the Hoegh Asia and it has left port and somewhere in Belgium. I guess it should be arriving in Baltimore today. They told me that my est. del date would be @5/14 so we will see.

yeah, I just realized that the cargo locator tool doesn't track the voyage. (that's probably been already mentioned in this long thread!) Indeed the ship left 2 days later and is due in baltimore on 5/6! (I found it via schedule tracking and the voyage or vessel name)

FYI:
When a ship is close to shore, I mean really close, it shows on:
http://www.vesseltracker.com/en/Home.html
I think it requires a free registration. You need to fill in one of the numbers available on 2wglobal.
It shows a very small map. One has to imagine that the boat is in the exact middle of the map. The latter can be zoomed in and out. The map is not available when the ship is at high seas, but it says something like "out of range".
I did manage to "see" "my" ship going into a river delta to Antwerp, then to Southampton, then out of The Channel... to cross the Big Blue.
And I did see the ship stay at Dundalk (sp ?) for two nights.
It was visible about 1-2 days before the 2wglobal showed the stop highlighted in red (meaning ship had sailed away) and that the car was actually "unloaded" on the bill of lading.
It's not much, but it kills time while waiting... and it's fun!
