Click on the link to auto cargo on the right, and put in your vin#. You can then look at the schedules to see when the ship will arrive in the port.

I did what Atomic1dr said to do . . .

ah, the Courage has 169 so there will be some happy customers soon. Only thing bothering me is that my dealer told me it had already arrived so guess that was not true as I found my vin on the bill of lading for the Courage which should be landing or has landed in Baltimore......

that shipping company must be managed by the same people as SmartUSA. my dealer sent me my vin# , I tracked it to, loaded on Talisman Feb 12 in Bremerhaven .I checked the Talisman schedule, it says it departed Bremerhaven Feb 9 !!! Both voyage id# are the same....so I'm thinking either it missed the boat , or the boat travels thru a tear in the time space continuum and departs before it loads, or they might have helicoptered the car on to it, as sails towards England ,or maybe the shippers info ain't so accurate........

I think it is a tear in the space time continuum.

I did notice that all the cars on the Medea had the exact same load time. They might have done all the paperwork after the boat left??

when you track the car and where it says discharged and Baltimore does that mean it was discharged from the boat or it left the port and is on its was to the dealer?

If the Smarts are only trickling in now at a few hundred a month, I wonder how long it will take to fill a reservation that wasn't done during the initial private registration. I have an 1188 number so I didn't reserve until shortly after the program went public. Does anyone know how many Smarts were reserved during the initial two weeks of the private reservation program and how many cars have been delivered?

Even though I only reserved a day or two after the public reservation program, I am wondering if it could take 6 months to get to 1188?

it depends of how many reservations there were in your area and the dealer allotment. My 1189 is being delivered to Edison, NJ. It was unloaded from the ship on Feb 18th and is now in Baltimore, so i'm hoping for a march 1st delivery

Thanks, that's good news. The bad news is I am in the Dallas area and I think we had the 3rd most orders of any metro area.

There is an article mentioning that they delivered 1400 in January, will deliver 1500 in Feb and 2000 in March. It won't let me post the link since I am new.

So, does anyone know if there is a way to tell how many reservations there were before my 1188 reservation? Is there a way to tell from the complete reservation code?

There is nothing official as to the weekly or monthly reserervation #s published by smart. Since you reserved 15 days in and configured sometime in November. I would bet on a April delivery. Then again this is all dependent on dealer location and allotment. Check your regional subforum threads for a pattern development on who has recieved the 30 day to arrival email. I for one am still trying to discern the Southern California pattern, but for the most part dealers are still trying to finish delivering 1173's.

And the rest of the reservation code is only a time stamp to your April 3rd reservation
