I purchased the cd storage unit that fits into the slidy post thing that's already in the smart and it WON'T stay in! Every time I go over a bump it tumbles to the floor! Has this happened to anyone else?
Luckily the dealership I purchased it from will exchange for a new one but I'm afraid they are all the same....

Ya gotta make sure the quick release "lock" clicks in place. If it doesn't, it'll slide out. You should hear it click when you put it in. If not, give it a lookie-loo and see if it's made, you may have to nudge it with your finger.

Ditto with mudpie. i have the ashtray that uses this same slot, push it down hard to lock.
