Central FL smarts turn out for charity car show

Saturday the local United Methodist Church held a car show. Entrance fees (cash or food) went to assist the local Family Resource Center that distributes food and other needed items to needy and low-income families in the area.

Central FL smart car club had a great turn out with seven total smarts and owners attending - four whites, two reds and one yellow. The yellow smart won "Best Paint" award~! The owner collected a certificate and a $25 Appleby's gift card.

Thanks to all those that attended.
Check out the cars at my Gallery.

Don't you find it ironic that the yellow doesn't have paint yet the red does? Seven Smarts! Good showing. Four whites? White is rare as hen's teeth up here - not many at all, it comes in second to black though.

Nice to see a club showing their Smarts at a show.

Ahhh..so it was yours? I'm normally for paint being on the entire car when they give a best paint award but your headlights are awesome so thumbsup for an exception to that rule.

(at a large show last year best paint was left up to me to decide and I had several people ready to kill me because I wouldn't chose a motorcycle with tons of nice graphics - instead I went for a nice street rod with realistic airbrushed flames - it was a '33 Willies, bike had slightly more detail but not much and the car had it done through out taking up more real estate, IMO more time/work to do it warranted the award which was a large sum of cash included)
