There out there, but just hard to find! Last week the National Street Rod show was in town, and I didn't find a single vendor inside that had a product for fabric tops. Hard to believe - I know! The Wolfsteins looks promising, might give it a try if MB or BMW (that other German dealer) in town come up empty. (The 303 I'm not so sure about since it include "vinyl" in its description and mentions nothing about waterproofing)

After reading some info on the forum over @ Meguiar's, I researched and purchased Raggtopp Cleaner for Vinyl & Fabric Tops ($10.95) and Raggtopp Vinyl protectant ($14.95) online today. Even though the cabrio doesn't seem "vinyl'-ly, there is some type of plymer involved, therefore the use of these products. Apparently on other newer vehicles with softtops these products work very well, and offer UV protectant (very necessary for me living in FL.) I will let you know how it works when it comes in. BTW, I'm a new Cabrio owner <2 weeks

Someone posted this link just today on my similar question...the "how to's" are not so much of a mystery anymore.

I treated our cabrio top with Fabric Guard from 303. Just sprayed on, let dry and that was it. The top beads like crazy so it seems to work.

I'd hesitate using the vinyl protectorant! I spoke to Meguair reps at the auto show, and the claimed they really didn't have a product for fabric roofs. The cleaner may be safe to use, although you'll probably need to use something else to add water repellancy back?
