The keyhole in the driver's door locks, doesn't unlock.

There have been threads that show how to lock the car using the key and the center button consoles without using the RF button thingy (technical term).

...are we sure it is not the other way around?...it's just a cable to unlock in case battery runs down or whatever...and to lock it while the power is still on hit lock on the console..remove key and exit..car is locked now..

Yep, Jet... key will unlock but not lock - I didn't know that. It's not what I expected.

..try it with the door open..power on...hit lock..get the heck out...close door..it will beep once if factory alarm installed..
