My car is in transit and will be at the dealer by the end of the month. He stated he will have a better actual date next week. He confirmed the configurations that I requested in the process....Blue/silver/black.
Since you were told that your car was in transit, were you also given it's VIN number? I've learned that things like loans, insurance, etc. need that number to get rolling. Since they were able to identify YOUR car they should probably also have that number available. Just curious.
I was on another call, when the dealer called so I just got the basics. The other call was business, but I made them wait while I got the good news. Since they will call me next week with all the details I did not ask more. Sorry.
We've been waiting the longest. Our fingers were poised over the keyboard when the request for our $99 arrived and got in on the first day back in March.
We're the guinea pigs in this whole operation. And now the big test is coming very, very soon for us who reserved on day one.
We need to stay in touch, blast out when we hear from the dealer. Find out when we can actually touch our smart on the showroom floor. Share dealership experiences. Let others know when we took delivery and what our experience with the smart is.

You have to be right there at the top. First day res and first day config, both early in the morning Eastern time. If you are not first you got to be close.

Well.. My config was later in the day 8:41pm. I got the email early but was unable to get to the computer all day. We should be getting some emails in the next few minutes. I Hope!
