That might explain why I drive a fortwo and my daughter drives an Escape. She is the one who has to deal with baby seats.

Where did you hear that gbryars? It would be odd, as their current, slimmed-down, lineup is selling relatively well, at least by Suzuki standards.

The word I heard was that GN, who supplies the factory space for Suzuki (cars only) in the states, is not going to continue after this year. Granted, my info is a bit aged (from this past spring) and Suzuki may have made another deal, or will import from outside, but that was the word.

By comparing the fortwo in their ad, Kia generates more interest in smart, and longer wait times.
