Consumer news world reports Full test of the Smart passion November issue.

Anybody happen to catch the November issue of Comsumer News and world reports full test of the Smart car? They did a full test on the car, and they were equally as nasty as their first report calling it "an ostrich egg on wheels"
Not only were they not impressed with the transmisson ( thats a no brainer there ) or the "rough ride" of the car, but they rated it at the bottom of the trash heap, and making the remark of it being only a two seater and too expensive for what you get. You think the testers of the car they got really are SUV owners?
I can get the Smart as not being everyones cup of tea, but reallly, you think they at least be nice about it. Perhaps the mag needs to see this forum and really form an opnion there. Any thoughts on this?

Grab the torches and pitchforks and let's head to their home office. I think it's rather silly of them as we have never had a car like this in the USA. If it isn't a tank it isn't a car.

Let them have their opinion.

I think it is their magazine that is the bottom of the trash heap...but they are entitled to their opinion. I am glad that not everyone likes it. I like it and it is only my opinion that matters in what decisions I make concerning what I drive.

Yeah, if it doesn't seat 7 and have 4WD with a V8, it's not worthy!

They need testers that drive something other than Ford Expeditions and Scion tCs

Don't forget the rivals out there like the Honda Fit, and the other makes that car is compared to.
Now there is nothing wrong with those makes. Different strokes for different folks, just i prefer my Smart thank you.
