Consumer reports is Misrepresenting SMART cars!

Yep. Great cars really. S.O. had a Camry, then a Highlander. Couldn't find a flaw in either. Reliable, efficient, great cars both and highly regarded by CU. Now she drives a Mercedes ML320 CDI and I couldn't get her to go back to a Toyota no matter how reliable they are. Now she's spoiled.

For non-motorheads CU is a great resource. I am biased because of the bad press the Suzi got and I ma a gearhead. But hey, I am also a glutton for punishment. I own 2 other infamous vehicles......Corvairs. Ralph who?

Oh, and so as not to contribute to the hijack of this thread. Hopefully the smart 451 will prove to be a reliable as well as practical car for those "appliance" people as well as providing a forward designe vehicle for us gearheads and odd car lovers. CU can have a huge effect on sales and decisions. Lets hope the 4-2 fairs well.

I can't wait to get mine and park it next to the Isetta.
