Just wanted to throw it out there that the Coral Gables dealer in Florida is charging approximately $5,500 over sticker on orphans. They install extras such as a GPS, rear view video camera, plastic "chrome", powder coted wheels, and upgraded floor mats. In addition to the $650 destination charge they also charge a $399 "service fee". So I suppose it is more like $6000 over sticker not even including the destination charge. I also discovered they often have more orphans on the lot than they let on. I guess they figure if a potential buyer comes in and they claim to only have one or two (although they may have five) the poor sucker thinks he/she has to act fast. No time to research, no time to ask around, no time to think. Take it now or you could very quickly lose it. There are many respectable Smart dealers out there. Coral Gables is one of the few dealers exploiting the situation to the absolute max.
