Does anyone know if this photo is real of photoshopped?

I can't see anything that looks remotely like a smartcar in there. If it is real, I'm certainly sad for the people inside...if it isn't real, I'd like to stop people from spreading the picture/rumor.

I can't see the photo at work here but if it's the one that is now going round the 'net with the remains of a car in-between two huge trucks it is not a smart car. The rims of the wheels are NOT of a smart car and also there is a 5 lug pattern on the car versus a 3 lug pattern on the smarts.
I wish people who send out stuff like that would actually verify the facts instead of being ignorant just because they don't like the car.

btw, that photo WAS of an Escape. I saw one just like it (before the accident of course) at the gas station today and thought to myself "Hum, those wheels look VERY familiar.....". Now I know what it 'was'.

I never thought it was a smart. First, too many lug nuts on the wheel and second, with all the plastic panels, surely some if not all would have been popped off in the accident. This vehicles body panels were METAL.

I hope that as someone else posted everyone was 'ok'. Bad accident, regardless of what kind of car, suv, truck, etc.......
