Seems to me that was the test that was overblown by the media, and if you look at the test Smart it took the frontal crash better than the Fit and the Yaris of that same "extreme crash". Sorry if that opened a bag of worms.

And other cars were not tested this way like the Aveo because they didn't even get a good enough ratings against the standard tests
