People told me it was because I hadn't Confirmed and configured (C&C). But that is just a rumor. I configured back in March. Just this month mine changed again. These were the dates.
Nov08-Jan09
then it changed to:
Oct08-Dec08
Last week it changed to:
2nd September to 1 December.
Why didn't they just say Sep08-Nov08. No reason given for the change, and it wasn't becuase I configured or confirmed. I hope it changes to Jul08-Sept08 soon.
that's good!! ...it means they are narrowing in on your build date. It will continue to change throughout the summer, but will stay with the day of the month format. you won't get the Jul08-Sept08, but maybe a 22July - 21Oct08!
I've been getting very frustrated with this DDE as I reserved in early June 07, #1249, configed in Feb 08 and my DDE is Nov. 08 - Jan. 09. I've been checking daily and dates have not changed. I can't believe it will be 19 months total to get this car when I reseved early on when others are reserving and getting earlier DDE dates. What's up? Am I missing something here? May be I should call the local dealership to see what's up. Any ideas?
Each dealer is getting about 35 cars per month, so, if you are in an area where alot of people reserved, it may take longer to get yours. In Denver, I am about 300 on the list, so, I should get mine about August - September, like the DDE states. I am a #1276 that confirmed on Feb 15th.
I keep in contact with my "local" dealership and she tells me that there is still no info on the dealer network. Which tells me that my car isn't even being built, yet. Waiting still stinks I am getting more and more impatient day by day. But I think the DDE is correct IMHO. I almost wonder if waiting is worth it. Well I go on vacation a few weeks. There is a smart dealership nearby I am going to try to get a test drive while I am down there to see if I think the wait is still worth it.

My DDE has been Dec 08 -Feb 09.
Today my DDE changed to Nov 08 to Jan 09.

This was really spooky. My DDE changed to 23-July to 21Oct08. How did you know? Can you look into your crystal ball and tell me what it will do next?
