Before it was just Feb '09 to April '09. Now it says Jan.1 '09 to April 1 '09. Why do they give you an actual day, but also increase my window from two months to three months? Any thoughts

Hm...mine went from
"Dec 2008 to Feb 2009"
to
"Dec 27, 2008 to March 27, 2008"
I thought it was because I just configured, but maybe it is happening to everyone?
I believe the date gets day specific when your window gets within a certain proximity. But, I don't see the window getting wider. I mean, "Feb '09 to Apr '09" is three months, as is, "Jan 1 '09 to Apr 1 '09".

Feb, Mar, Apr
or
Jan, Feb, Mar (plus 1 day)
Well true enough. I guess I was just looking at all the months listed. I guess then I should look at it as having moved up one month. Either way I'm still putting my money on February.
FWIW, today mine moved from Sep-Nov 09 to Jan-Mar 09; a big jump IMHO.
WOW, that's a HUGE jump! I hope mine doesn't do that. I'll have to put down another deposit.
Actually, I think I will need to, since I'm aiming for a 2010 model. I just checked, I'm now projected for 9/09 to 11/09. Although that's not as huge a jump as you saw, I think it will probably creep further toward the present over time. Rats!

No need - just go in and change something in your configuration (may have to call the 800 number at this point) and that should set the production date back into 2010.

I'm trying to reconfigure my car after my configure window closed last month. According to the 800# at worst case it might set you back a couple of months if that. Of course I can't seem to get an answer from smart to "confirm" my reconfiguration, and now they just moved my date up another month. I guess at this point I will just have to be surprised as to what I'm getting.
