DDE is same here, got the call that it will be here in April.. I could probably get the vin but haven't called the dealer yet.
Where can I track the VIN if I get it?
You can track your vehicle at the following address: https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage
This is the WWL Shipping company. The Wellenius Wilhelmsen Logistics company is what SamrtUsa uses to transport their cars. WWL has over 65 ships with capacities of 4500 to 7500 cars each. Just plug in your VIN # in the cargoID box. It will let you know if it is on the loading docks, on board ship in port, out of port & the ship's name. You will be able to track its progress across the Atlantic in 6 hour intervals via GPS. Once it reaches stateside and offloaded it will disappear. It usually takes as little as 10 days to cross or up to 14 days. Good Luck!

I can't see what the difference is. If it is shipped by the same shipping lines, WWL, I would presume it should also work. Have you tried?
2w is not the only transport Daimler uses.

I know, it's a long thread, but I'm sure you'll find valuable help there...
Soon!
My DDE started slipping backwards, a week or so back, by a day, each day. Now it's stuck at 3/31/09 - 6/28/09 for the past 4 days so hopefully that means it's almost in production. It's been a long wait since last April~!
Thankfully, I have my Lil Orphan Annie to keep me from goin' nutz~!
My DDE did that, then jumped ahead about a week. I got the call from the dealer that mine was built that same day. Haven't tried tracking yet since I got the notice just this week.
YIKES! My DDE or estimated delivery date was Aug.-Oct.2009. for several weeks. I checked it earlier today and it says "your vehicle delivery date can not be estimated at this time". What does this mean? Please tell me it means something good. I know it can take over a year, but the waiting is so difficult. Any comments, advice, info are appreciated!

It is important to note that the DDE does not reflect any potential changes in vehicle production, distribution and Reservation Holder cancellations. Any of these factors could change your estimated delivery date. Please continue to check the DDE from time to tim

Figure 2/14 plus 30 days. It will probably move forword day by day to keep it at 30 days.

Yep, I've tried several times and it doesn't exist in their system. I've got the sales rep checking for me and I should find out tomorrow or the next day where it is.
