DDE moved again !!

• 2008-07-02 ~ 2008-10-02 is what my DDE says now

Hmmm.... I made my reservation at the end of 10/07 and my DDE is 8/09 to 10/09!!!! I think they found out I bought an orphan in the meanwhile (2/1/08) and pushed me back!!!! I did want the second SMART for hubby!!!! Why do I get the TWO YEAR wait???? They had no answer for me.

I made my reservation on Aug 24 07 and my DDE never moved from the original July-Sept 09 date. They gave me the same reply. Didn't consider an orphan, and still waiting.

I just checked. My DDE moved from July 26, 2008 to October 24, 2008 up by a month and now reads June 23, 2008 to Sept 21, 2008.

I reserved Nov 20, 2007, configured March 21, 2008.

My no. is 1306 (late July), I confirmed on 4/21 - my DDE still says 8/21 - 10/19!

You're doing better than I am. I'm a 1280, confirmed on 3/23 and DDE has me at 10/2008-12/2008. Why is yours scheduled before mine? Granted I'm a little out of your area, but I think Laguna Niguel (my dealer) is the next closest dealer.

You're right, this is very frustrating. I sent a letter to Ken K last week with some of the delivery dates from this site. I doubt it will make a difference, but it felt good to complain about it.

I just checked it again, am in LA also configured Registered in October 07 configured in April yet DDE shows Mar-May 09 Question how does one see the day it is due?

Well, since cars are done in batches according to color, I would imagine that any positive movement would indicate that there was a spot available for whatever color tridion/panel the OP ordered so it got moved up to that batch.

If they're going to do a batch of 12 silver tridion Smarts, and there's only 10 silvers in the current que, then they STILL need to do the 12 they've scheduled. So two from the next batch would be moved up to this batch.
