Ya... I have not heard anything about a dealership over there. I am sure they would be popular on the islands though.

I am really surprised PAG does not have a Fleet tier of reservations... Places like Hawaii and Puerto Rico tourist oriented rental car agencies would probably be rather big orders... and "The Islands" should generate fairly large private car sales numbers...

Having such a limited production /supply really is crippling PAG in several natural Smart Car sales categories

I thought that to myself that a pure with AC and Radio would be a huge hit for rental companies. Sixt charges 5 Euro a day for a smart, something of that caliber would be great for a weekend buisness trip. Islands, especially Hawaii would benefit from the smart.
