From the research I have done it looks like the retail price is holding up. There are some cars around now due to people not taking delivery of cars that were ordered due to lower fuel prices and the bad economy.

I can see someone not taking delivery due to the economy, but low fuel prices, that is foolish. Gas prices are low now, but when summer hits, they will be back up around 3 or 4 dollars a gallon. It happens every year.

I did hear that some people were being stupid again since the fuel pricing is low and going out and buying SUVs again. Going to smack them in the face when the price of gas shoots up. Oh well, you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

when will ppl realize not to compare $2 per gallon vs $4 per gallon?! it is about the saving in percentage. it is relative to the savings in percentage at the time of the fillup. the only way to completely save 100% is not to drive.

Ok,

I am not getting your post.

My post is simple and to the point.

People do what the price of gas demands and are not being proactive and just deal with the fact gas does go up.

And yes, comparing $2 to $4 a gallon on someone that does not get pay increases each time the cost goes up or down. They then have to go into what do I do to save the money to pay for the price increase. So, if you just go and buy a vehicle that gets 30mpg instead of one that gets 15mpg, you won't feel it in your pocket book as much. Simple Economics. You have to always budget and compare prices of things.
