Did you post your story, what happened with the Cinn. dealer?

I have the impression that throwing in the rubber mats is rather basic. I would assume during check-out was the best time to ask for them. Well, they should be doing the after-sale call to check with you about how the car rides, ..., you could probably ask about the mats. Your dealer would still want to impress you as the online survey will be coming to your e-mailbox soon.

Talking about asking for free stuff because of what I went through, my story has become more dramatic/unusual : so far, my little Smartie was home for 16.5 days and is in the repair shop for ~6 days and counting. I was told that they had to order the parts and then the repair is taking longer than anticipated. It is okay that they take all the time necessary to get the job done right. I don't want to drive back and forth for the same problem. Paul, the Service Director, has been doing a good job updating me with the status. I am starting to miss my Brabus Smartie though.
They offered me a loaner. So, to look at the bright side of it, I get to experience driving a Passion.
. The ride seems to be softer than that of the Brabus, likely because of the difference in the suspension.

See? This is indeed a silver-lining in an otherwise grey cloud. If ye can't change it ye may as well enjoy it....like Vogon poetry!

"B.o.b." , you didn't get your Brabus in Cincy after all, you went to Columbus Ohio. My question is: Why would the Columbus dealer give you 'free stuff' when it was the Cincy dealer that is accused of screwing up? In that aspect, as I see it, Columbus doesn't owe you anything.

Now as for the greasy oil pan, that's why you have a warranty. And the way you're paying for your car really has no relevance. Cash, loan, gold bars, doesn't matter.

Can we move on now?

My understanding is that the oil pan seal was not put in correctly thus oil was leaking from the rear of it.
