Delivery Estimate Anyone ?

I live in Chicago and reserved my car on March 20th, 07. I configured it October 26th, 07. My reservation # is 1182. Any guesses on how much longer I have to wait ? I'm growing very weary and as the economy worsens I am considering bailing out ! Thanks ! MIKE700

I feel your pain. Cancelled mine after the 30 day wait from its coming message. Bought a Yaris. I was an 1180. Do what ya must. If ya do some math you might find the Yaris is a better deal.

How about NOW?! In your confirmation letter did it say when to expect your car? Have you gotten in touch with your dealership? Have you called Smart USA? Have your Chicago SCOA chapters been getting their's on time. Some of the more densely populated areas are behind schedule. Good luck, man. It could be on the boat or in your dealers parking lot right now.

I also am in Chicago, 1182. My car arrived at the dealer on Wednesday. I am still waiting for them to PDI (Prepare fro Dealer Inventory?) so I can take delivery.
So frustrating.
I was on vacation last week, it would have been fun to have :-(

Call your dealer, as an 1182 and another chicago person says their car is in... you two should compare VIN's the last 6 digits are in sequence, it the car was built it was shipped.

I am a 1181 in Chicago (Loeber Motors) with no word on when I can expect delivery. My call to Smart USA this week provided no information either just the standard line "it will be soon", plus they thanked me for being an early reservation holder. My wife also has a reservation number of 1184 - same experience.

Reserved March 30th, 2007 in Colorado. Got the call yesterday that my car has arrived.

Mike700: I have to believe you're really close. I would call your dealer and ask when the cars they are delivering now were reserved. If they are into mid-March reservations at this point, you a probably no more than a couple of weeks away.
