Design Flaws...

Has anyone noticed any major/minor design flaws with the interior of their SMART?

i have to say i have two complaints (albeit minor):
1. When tossing something into the trunk through the doors (as opposed to the window in the back) the only way to make the back of the seat collapse forward to throw something in the back is on the inside side of the seat... so if i want to throw something in the back without opening the back trunk door i have to bend forward, have the seat collapse on me then grab my (usually gym bag) and throw it in the back (since the space between the two seats is usually not big enough to just toss over the back of my head once i'm already in the car).
2. the AC adapter/psuedo cigarrete lighter (which i primarily use as a phone charger) is directly above the cup holders... so when i charge my phone and have a water bottel in the cup holder at the same time the wires from my charger are constantly in the way of my bottle.

other minor things but those are the two most noticable for me....

i think the seat thing may have something to do with being able to fold the passenger seat flat from a sitting position in the driver's seat.

i'm curious to see how all the fabric used in the interior (door panels, dash) holds up to use, age and abuse compared to other materials.

I have noticed both of these things. I installed a second 12v outlet in the glove box. Much more convenient and I can leave my phone/iPod in the car plugged in without people seeing it.

I think it is silly to have to run a wire out of the glove box to hook up your iPod. Either put a power socket in the glove box or an Aux input socket next to the power plug under the dash. Or even better, do both!
