Destination Smartville

I'm really excited, we have been planning this trip for a long time.

We are leaving for a visit to Smartville tomorrow. We are driving and will continue on touring the countryside for another week. We are going to take pics and will share upon our return.

How are you driving from Roseburg Oregon to Hambach France? That'll be a wet drive, but have fun!

That sounds like a long, wet drive

I think the closest I'll get to smartville is Smartsville in California.

Perhaps they have a 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' version of the Smart Fortwo with those extra features?

Hey, 24-42? It seems a more direct route would be to drive toward the East Coast and head North East, into the Atlantic Ocean. Be warned, watch out for large vessels, they may not see your little smart until it is too late! Better carry along extra gas! I believe, gas stations are scarce as hens teeth, out there. Drive safely, and don`t get too wet! LOL

No need for him to sweat directions with a LORAN (Long Range Navigation) system . The functions of the LORAN UNIT is: Preset Position in Latitude-Longitude and/or relative to a destination, waypoint or check point. Bearing and distance to your destination. Ground speed and estimated time enroute. Course Deviation Indicator. Storage in memory of ports. Add-on programable and updatable database. Continuous computation of bearing and distances to the nearest port. Computation of wind direction and velocity. Add-on such as fuel flow analyzers to estimate fuel need to reach destination. With this unit, at least he will have access to to proper destination, along with other vital info. Goog luck! Hey, if you come across some huge Jelly Fish that glow in the dark, take a couple of pics for us. LOL

I really really liked this one.

I was presented with an opportunity I/we just couldn't pass up. We have to get up pretty early in the morning but when combined with the expense, it is all worth it. It'll be a 'First' for me. I will say; I'm wearing my waterproof watch. If I die on this adventure. . . I died Smart & happy.
That's all for now.
