Detailing a Smart Fortwo?

I like keeping my cars looking new and have a ton of cleaners and waxes, but I've never worked on a Smart before. What's best for keeping the plastic panels looking nice, or the powercoated Tridion?

Just keep the car clean, like any other car. Keep bird poop, and insects off (will stain and etches the paint fast on a Smart.) Keep the salt off the body and under the car. Use a good car wax every once a while. No different then any other car. I use Meguiars Gold Class Liquid wax. Deep shine. Meguiars has a wide range of products.

What about the interior?

How do you clean between the seats? I don't think there's a crevasse tool made that'll reach there.

I have this hose/tool set:
Wet/Dry Vacuum Hose & Nozzle Replacements - Clean Up - In Your Garage - Griot's Garage

The nozzle is long and soft enough to reach down between the seats and console/seats and floor.

If you clean up all the crums down there, what will those gerbals we use to power the Car eat.

I have been using Klasse All in One and the Klasse Protection for a LONG lasting shine and protection from bird feces. Also I got a clay bar for the spring which I will use to make the Smart Shine!

I had a neighbor who would, take his lawn blower to clean out his car. His dog ate what french fries that were left in the car.

I have a Sears Shop Vac. It has a crevasse tool for that. They have long skinny ones at Home depot too!!!!! Our Dyson Vac has a long skinny attachment for between the refrigerator, we brought.

I have a Ryobi 2 Gal wet dry vac that is battery powered. It seems to have plenty of power and I have some detailing nozzles that will get between tne seat rails and "door jam" and other tight places.

I also highly recommend looking into Rejex. It is not a wax but an aerospace polymer. It really seems to do a good job of protection. There are other threads that provide more information.

Don't work for either company etc.etc.

"The Devil's in the detailing" (or something like that). There is actually a lot more room to maneuver a crevice tool in this car than many others. Shouldn't be a big deal.

As to outside treatment, RainX works well on the plastic (found out by accident). Just bath your entire car in it. Won't help you if you drive into a lake, but otherwise works okay...
