Car man needs to study (diligently) all of the EPA stuff that addresses diesel-powered automobiles and their emissions in the US.

Apparently posts 10, 25, 27, and 42 were of no relevance to the smart.

From roughly 42 is where this thread went to hell with me asking someone to qualify their statements, at which point you jumped in on their behalf, quoting numbers that I still can't find on the manufacturer's web sites.

I had my smart flashed by a guy here in Calgary. It upped the hp to 70 and the torque went up as well. I can get off the line with the best of them. You should see the looks of the semi drivers when I fly past them doing 130kph! I've got the 6 speed transmission.
