Dissapointed with Dealer Anniversary Events?

No anniversary at the MN dealership. We did have a grand opening party though.

My dealership (smart Center of Jacklsonville, Florida) had a "get together" a few months ago and had a decent notice been given (original notice was posted in here less then two weeks before the planned event), my wife and I would had probably attended. If it ever comes up again ???, a "timely" notice would be appreciated...

I'm not sure I'd attend one, not sure why but doesn't sound interesting to me. I LOVE the smarties though!

Orlando's event was awesome. They planned it very well. And best of all I hooked up with Superior and got my new dash kit! The picture was a very cool touch...I think more events should offer something like that for owners

Disappointed? I have probably purchased 6 or 8 new cars in my lifetime and my Smart is the first to have an anniversary party. We wouldn't be spoiled would we? I liked the way Portland, Oregons dealership handled it. I drove 200 miles one way to attend. It was small, fun and informative.

Hedders - you're right! When does a customer ever get a second thought once a sale is complete?

The Portland event was very nice, but they canceled the Feb BD party due to lack of interest. I believe they will reschedule for Feb and March together.

At the January party we had cake and coffee and berak out sessions with each of the three departments (Service, Parts and Sales). It was interesting an fun to get together with smart friends new and old.

Smart center Portland is also supporting our spring event! They are hosting the morning meet up and sending staff along on our drive. (Still working on getting them to send along some goodies)

Not sure about a lack of interest so much as a lack of opportunity - for me at least.
