Hi i have been watching for a post regarding some type of shield for the roof panel.It's not hot yet in phx but will be soon and having something to block the sun would be nice.Any ideas would be great help.

Before I painted the roof of my 451 to totally block the transfer of the sun's heat I bought some quilted jacket liner at the local fabric shop, sprayed a little adhesive on it and glued it to the underside of the panoramic roof and probably stopped half the heat and all the UV and Sun.
If you wanted to shield but still open sometimes you might be able to replace the net with a sold cloth or plastic but you would have to take the roller apart.
I had some 1/4" thick, foil covered, bubble material left from another project so I cut it to fit and it's been in since last spring. I can still open the shade if I ever want to (I won't) and this product really reflects sun and heat.
