Does it have a heater?

People said VW,s had bad heaters. But our 68 auto stick shift, had a great heater.Guess VW got it right. At 7000ft,in Utah,we don't care much about power steering or A/C,but need the heater.

Of course it does. I don't think Mercedes would engineer a car without heat. Watercooled not aircooled like the ol' VWs in which you had to carry a window scraper (from the inside)to see out of the windscreen.

All I care about is the seat heaters, I barely use air heat, if ever, since getting addicted to toasty seats

heater

We thought it did. We were in Michigan when we bought the VW,didn't need the scrapper much. Got transfered to Pourto Rico, was glad it could float a couple times.
Smaller car, about same size motor, heater should do good in Utah if it is OK in Minnisota. That folding flat passinger seat is what sold us.

Bought a new bug in '68, the heaters were great, until the heater channels rusted out. In Wisconsin that was about two days.
