Does Hill-Holder work in reverse, going up hill?

I'm curious to hear from an experiencedowner in a hilly area -or someone who really knows the Hill-Holder technology.

I'm going to be occasionally parking on my steep driveway. To start up, I'd be reversing UP hill. Is the hill holder functional only going forward?

My driveway has a nasty angle too.. like 30 degrees angle yikes!
And i'll be reversing this with sometime snows !!! yikes !

I hope the reverse on the smart strong enough. cuz if the reverse fail and the tires spin im gona hit something for sure (fence, walls, pillar, next garage door maybe ? lol )

It does indeed work in forward and reverse. It will hold the brake for a second or two, then beeps at you when it's about to release the brake.
