(Does it run on) "Pure Energy?"

A lady in the Albertson's parking lot saw my Smart Car this afternoon and asked me, "Is it pure energy, or does it need gas?" I briefly thought of fabricating a story about it running on a pure energy cell that costs $150 and must be replaced every five years, but I enjoy people too much to mess with them and simply replied "Gas".

Of course I let her take a look inside while I extolled the virtues of this tiny car. She left very impressed, and her companion even remarked, "It really IS cool!"

The roof is a new transparent solar panel and can only drive it when the weather is good. and if stuck in cloudy skyes you use the wind up key to get home.
