Doodads

So everybody gets the normal accessories. Floor mats, cupholders, ashtrays, MP3 docks, air fresheners, whatever. But what about the stuff you don't normally see? What do you have that is different?

Me, I have three things so far. One is an air freshener, but not just any. I was able to go on vacation to England last month, and the hubby and I went to the Doctor Who exhibit in Cardiff, where I got a Tardis air freshener. It sits on the dash and spins as I drive.

Two is a Beanie Baby that I got when McDonald's was still giving them away- remember those? Well, he's a squirrel, and his name is Merle. He sits in the little pocket to the right of the steering column, and is there to ward real live squirrels out of the road. He worked well when he sat on top of the dash in the last car I drove, which Hubby is now driving.

And three is a teeny little Humvee I picked up at WalMart yesterday. For much the same purpose as Merle, its purpose is to keep the larger vehicles from ganging up on me as I drive. I hope it works!

Maybe now I need to get a little crazy dude to keep weirdos away... *Lol*

How about you? Got any little odd doodads in your Smart? Or am I the only one?

I've got a red "barrel-of-monkeys" monkey hanging from the passenger visor (they used to put them on drinks at Sonic in the '80s).

It's to keep drooling teenagers away. Dang monkeys.

I like that concept - the warding off.

Had a client yesterday who commented on the duck in her yard. The very morning after her young daughter wished she had a duck, there was this very nice duck in the yard.

Anything that may help keep us safe, and help keep others safe, I say why not? Can't hurt.

I belong to a Red Hat group and have this red hat suncatcher
hanging from my mirror. My group is wondering how many red
hatters can fit if we all hold our breath. You can see photo on
my SCOA gallery.
