drag racing the smart tomorrow VS 996 turbo.

so heres the game plan. I decided i might splurge on that new chip and figured i would get the community some drag times before and after on a stock Smart fortwo.

But that wouldn't be fun only now would it....

I decided to get my buddy to come out with a modded 996 turbo Porsche. Car has a Unitronic chip on it + fabspeed exhaust and a host of suspension goodies. Last time out the car ran 11.3 @ 121 MPH if i recall right.

We have a small funny bet on this but heres the game plan. We are negotiating a head start time similar to pinks. As in he lets me go and takes of 5 seconds later or something. i currently am asking for a 9 second head start. I have no looked at the Smart Fortwo 1/4 mile time nor do i want to. I just want to feel this one out.

So Who thinks I'm right or wrong? Should i ask for more of a head start?

Videos will be taken of the whole ordeal to make sure no cheating was involved (or rather laugh our asses off repeatedly after the date)

I've seen pinks over here in Britain, are you going with the programme and actually racing for pinks, not really a fair contest, your mates got a bit more to loose
