Try the configurator link from one of the smart centers; I used smart Cincy to check the DRL option.

BTW, what's the $50 for anyway? Do they need to add different lights or wiring for the DRLs? If not, and it's just a tweak to the ECU done as your car is being built, what are we paying for?

Get the facts str8. There is no Benz that uses blinkers as drls my girl has a c class 2007 and it's lowbeam hid drls

Call Benz to find out

my price may have gone up a bit, but it will be offset a little by me not having to pay for metalic when I get my rally red.

How's your reading comprehension? I said they use the parking lights, which are separate from the blinkers on all MBs, including the smart. And I didn't state anything as fact.

Using the high-beams as DRLs, as you suggest, wouldn't solve your issue...current MBs have bi-xenons. That is a fact.

they use their low beams not the parking lights. Take it from a person who drives the car to know. No beef. Just a fAct

Using the highbeam of the car in a reduced voltage will be better than using the low beams that Benz does.

Not using the bixenon but the highbeam on the side
