Ditto - does anyone have an actual close-up photo of this thing hooked up? Thanks!

My foam has already been split in the middle from folding the carpet up.

Used it a few times. Hated it every time. It's embarrassing to fight to put into place when showing people the engine. The carpet being tucked under the plastic side panels makes it quite the pain, too.

I agree with that... The design is quite annoying.

NCC, try this technique next time...

But, I got frustrated trying to get the hook secured into that thing. Is that what the design is for? If not, what are those TWO features for?
If you hold the carpet up on the left side with your left hand, you will find that the clip on the carpet is closer to where the clip goes into that latch on the right side wall. Use the same technique in reverse to unlatch it. Sometimes, pushing slightly to the right with the left hand while lifting it make the clip come out of the latch with ease.

It's all in how you use your hands.....

Living in the Pacific Northwest; I carry an umbrella behind the passenger seat. I found the umbrella handle multitasks well to hold the carpet against the cargo cover top. Quick, easy, both hands free. If someone can explain to an old man how to download the pictures I will show you.

Holy cow! There's a hook for the carpet? All this time I've been using a stick. I'm about to replace my K&N with the Breathless filter. This could come in handy.

I use the two hand method and it works good for keeping the carpet up out of the way. I have replaced the air filter using the hook thing. it works.
