Engine heating the car?

Any indication that the engine heats the car or will damage things in the cargo area?

It didn't melt my ice cream,, or hard boil the eggs there coming back from the store. Milk stayed cold. The rear carpet never even gets warm.

Amazing! I would think after a while of driving it slowly heats up the car.

After a couple of hours crawling on the freeway, hearing the electric aux cooling fan turning on and off, knowing that the engine was indeed getting pretty warm absolutely no heat coming into the passenger compartment.

Question: Is the electric aux cooling fan located in the engine compartment or up in front with the coolant ,water and brake fluid ?

That's interesting, I swear I did read somewhere, a review I think, that stated the cargo floor did get warm. I was thinking I'd need a silicon mat back there to protect cold stuff and keep the pup from overheating

Well, my cargo floor does get warm after driving a while. But only warm. Not hot. Yes, the fan is in the front.

Heating....

Here is a question.... How is the heating inside the car? How long does it take to start feeling warm air on a cold morning? My current car takes about 4-5 miles just to start feeling warm inside. @ 37f

Interesting, if the fan and radiator are in the front of the car then the water pump has to push the coolant several feet. I wonder how long the water will last pushing liquid that distance or does it have a electric water pump ??
