engine light

I had a engine light come on. So I read the owners manual. It said not to drive it. I called smart usa. They took care of it . Sent a two truck to pick it up and take it back to smart dealer. It had a bad switch that let air in when you start it up. They put a new switch in. Now everything is fime.

Engine Light

Hello All: The engine light problem has stuck again. Somewhere around 3700 miles the light came on. I read the previous posts hoping I could solve the problem with a trip to the dealer. No luck. I call CHMB, Cherry Hill set up an appointment. I went today and in less than an hour, the car was fixed. I think the code was P0410. Solution replace switch over value for secondary air system.

Take care and Happy Motoring

wonder if that's the same switch that john2036 had replaced?

Do standard computer analyzers work with the smart?
