I know its hard to be behind someone in line, either at the grocery store, the movie theater or for our smarts. Be glad we're joyful, because you, too, will be there soon enough. Or would you rather we weren't so happy? And how would that make you feel about your decision.

Car arrives as early as Tuesday. Giving the dealer a day to check things out before turning it over to me.

Nah, Bob. I didn't mean you. I think it is a sound idea on getting a car. I meant that Orphan-Beggar joined yesterday, and has posted 12 times in different threads with the same message. I'm not sure, but I think he's looking for an orphan car. ;)

No that's ok, I didn't take it that way. I meant that I have posted many times that those late bloomers might still have a chance at an orphan if they get in touch with their dealer and stay alert.

I just go notified that the guy I have been schmoozing since last Oct is not on the Smart sales team..... dang now I got to buy a different guy or gal lunch, send beer/flowers and other suck up options.... geeezz

Hey at least my dealership spy here on SCOA got me straight--- I was about to get "my guy" NASCAR tickets.... now I got to snoop around and find out what my new guy/gal is into....

I sure do like it better the other way of buying cars...

I show up knowing more then the sales dude does...I know exactly what the vehicle is worth, what they paid, and have exactly enough cash in my hand to buy the thing with them getting a marginal profit...and having the heuvos to walk away if they won't take the cash offer....

This damnable Smart car does not have me feeling too smart
