Well, not an extreme car! But smart is represented on the site.

I have to agree, the Smart should not be on that particular page. It is a "regular" car...not unique or anything like the one on there that were build by schools and diffrent teams around the planet.

The site is on the fuel economy of all cars. It is part of the list of all cars made. I do not think it was part of the extreme cars article.

Yup, agree. It's not an "extreme mpg" car, but it is represented at the top when you click on "Find and Compare Cars".

Based on the MPG of my Pathfinder, the smart does seem like an extreme mpg car!

I too own a '99 Pathfinder and things aren't as bad as it looks. For example, four of us will go to the Pacific Beach in Mazatlan in December. If we drive the Pathfinder or two Smarts, the fuel consumption would be quite similar.

my bad......put the wrong site on there. the one i read did NOT have the smart listed, only all the 'generic' cars.....Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, etc...

ok, corrected the site info. still, i see NOTHING under "Small Car", either 2008 OR 2009, that lists the smart. NOTHING!

U.S Government bastards.......

they're listed under "two-seaters" and not surprisingly at the top of the list.

Search by EPA Size Class
select EPA Size Class > Two-seaters

(2008 model year)
