FINALLY!!!!

After reserving at the end of June, configuring at the beginning of September, I finally got a date range!!!!

10-30-08 through 1-28-09!!!!!!!
My birthday is in January... this will be a early 18th birthday present to myself!!!!!

Does any one know whether or not the car usually comes at the beginning of the DDE or the middle or the end??

BTW I live in CT. If that has anything to do with it.

It might very well have something to do with your very short wait period.

I believe it is typical for the DDE to shift forward and back before it stabilizes. At least, in my case that was true. In the final weeks it crept toward the present. And, I took delivery several weeks inside the window.

I was given the exact same DDE. I pose the smae question to anyone who p/u their Smart from the Round Rock Texas dealer?? Where in the window did you get yours?

I am trying to decide when would be the best time to put my chevy blazer up for sale (which the smart will be replacing ).

Threads have said 30 days after the begin date. My DDE says 8/29 which has passed but the car is due in Baltimore today or tomorrow. I'm hoping to pick up next week.

My DDE currently is at 8/13/08. I pick my car up tomorrow. it took a week to get from Baltimore to Va.Beach. in Baltimore 9/06 and at the dealer 9/12.
