Finally Configuring! - Page 3

I configured my Smart at the start of September for delivery to Las Vegas and today got an email saying it's 90 days away!

Really shocked as my estimated delivery was June-Aug 09 so it's been brought forward by 7 months! I only registered in April/May time too so from being told it's now an 18 month wait and I'm lucky to get a 15 month wait it's now only 8 months! Looks like Smartie might arrive before my baby!

Just got a call from round rock Jedi, Jan 5th I pick the car up. So I was right on the money as for 1 month from my DDE first date bud.

What date did you config?? I did mine on Sept 9th. Just checked in with my dealer today, and not in the system yet!! Does have some for Jan,09 coming on line for delivery.

My dealer just called me about 15 min ago and said he just got his Jan and Dec deliveries into his computer. Do you have a DDE with Days in it? I did a guestimation with the dealer yesterday, and guessed one month from my DDE day date and went one month out. I was only 1 day off, that being one month is a Sunday and DDE was Dec 6 thru Mar 6. Delivery on dealer was Jan 5th. hope this helps some P ball.

Aug 26th I configured, and I got my 90 day email yesterday. So, you can use my dates for a questimation if you like.

5th Sept and deposit paid on 9th May.

Someone posted a thread on what the "Status Codes" represent. I believe the codes are "A", "B", "C", "D" (on the boat), "1" (at the US Harbor), "2", "3" and "4" (hand you the keys). If someone locates the thread, would you please post again? Thank you

I was given a status "C" today.

Congrats! I just configured yesterday too. I was surprised when I got the email, I wasn't expecting it for another month or two. So from date of deposit to configure date was just about 3 months. Now my DDE is still saying April '09 to June '09. Wondering if that will change now also. It's already moved up 7 months from when I first got my DDE.
