Dear jandjcs,
Congrats on being a member of the Met. Grey family. I also originally had picked something else but when this new color came out for 09 I just knew it was for me. I was able to take my Gerdie home on the 20th of Feb. and have been happy ever since. She's had a couple of additions since I brought her home (window tint, personalized plates, and needed decals) and it just makes her look that much better. The color is very "classy". Marty from my local dealership just kept wanting to send me pictures of the new color but I refused and held out until my Gerdie arrived. What a wonderful choice. The Metallic Grey with Black Tridion Cell and Black Leather seats and being a cabrio has got to be one of the best choices, I wouldn't trade her for the world. I just gave her a complete rub-down on Sunday and she looked better than ever. I'll have to get some pictures posted ASAP. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Congrats again.

Thanks for nice welcome.
On the way home from the dealer my wife and I took longer trip and actually made it overnight stay in Lake Placid, NY - rainy afternoon, but great sunny Sunday. What a joy to drive our new dark gray cabrio with roof down at 45F .
Will try to post some pictures ( after I figure how)

The grey is an amazing color on the smart... excellent choice.

It's definitely in my top 2 or 3 I will go with if I ever get tired of the white.

If the sun is shining it can be a very pleasnt experience at 45 F:
top down, seat heater on, windows up - try it, you'll like it.
