First Road Trip to Miami to Sugarland, FL

Went on my first road trip to Clewiston, Fl from Miami yesterday for a production job and fell further in love!!!! I traveled 150 miles each way with my son as an assistant and tons of gear...

Went I got to the site I had to travel over 5 miles on a dirt road dubbing her a "Safari-Smart". Overall we were in and out of the Safari-Smart for about 10 hours and was very pleased with her in a working run & gun production enviroment... only wished for one thing- Cruise Control!!!!

The estimated cost for my trip was $34 compared to my Excursion which would have cost $170.

This weekend I will take her to Key West which IMO is the ideal roadtrip for a Smart!!!

We took a cruise this May and I spotted a Smart in Key West. You're right, that would be the ultimate road trip! We cruise again in September and will be on the lookout for Smarties again! I just wish I had more road to travel as we live in a small area and only get to the "City" every other week or so

This is a plan of mine, counting the mile markers, and take a side trip to the old 7 miles bridge to take picture, just before the section that was blown into pieces for I don't remember which movie.
Take care not to hit a tiny deer. And have fun!

We are going to Key West next week... Currently debating taking the Smart vs. Mazda 3 due to luggage, Bikes, etc.

Took my first ride from MIAMI to Gainsville last weekend, LOVED it cost me about $45 bucks in gas as opposed to the $140 in my Avalanche. have had the car a 10 days and have already put 1150 miles on it..... i love it.
