First solo run in our new Smart.

Wife's car, and I've had a tough time getting my turn, but yesterday I put on 142 miles town and country driving. (About 5 mins 80-85 freeway. Man this thing will go.

Biggest problem : I can't see the panel LED display in bright sun light. Almost ran out of gas.

Biggest pat on the back for us! We ordered the tach. Saved the day while I was learning shift points.

Love the attention, but sometimes, as Harley duo posted, I am amazed that some people, and even kids, don't see it as they walk by. Yet I know this is first one in this area.

Car sounds and feels a lot like an old VW bug, but winds up faster. More later.

A2Jack.

I think both guys need to buy a second smart. I could not imagine having to share my smartie with someone else. I think there would be blood shed. So my hats off to both of you for being so cordial (while swearing under your breaths). Hehehe

I think every smart should come with a Rottweiler. Please don't touch my smart. (Only child, not into sharing.)
