Floor Mats

This is something that my wife and I dont understand. Does the smart come with floor mats?

Mine didn't. I had to purchase them from a vendor in Texas. Don't remember their name but they are listed in the Vendors portion of this forum.

SO was it just bare metal floor? And what was the pricing on the mats?

the car comes with carpeting, but not mats.
i skipped the OEM mats and spent a little more for cocomats. very happy with them.

It comes with standard auto carpet.

Our dealer offered us Velour Mats or all weather Rubber. The Velour was more. We have a gravel drive and always track some into our car so we went with the all weather rubber mats somewhere around $65

Custom fitted smart coco mats can be had from: AutoSport Catalog - Coco Mats 800-953-0814. $125.

i opted for the original design cocomats, not the lesser quality ones from autosport catalog.
Order, Porsche and Cars
some good side-by-side info on the autosport ones alongside the more expensive and more substantial cocomats brand ones.

Got the Smart rubber mats when I picked up the car--have been very happy with them--$65.

I bought the heavyweight mats from Lloyds Mats and they were very nice. You don't really want to subject the factory floor covering to much wear, (I hesitate to call it carpet) it doesn't look like it will stand much cleaning before it's shot.
